All students will start each day with their clip on the green “Ready to Learn” section of the behavior chart. As Mrs. Yashinski notices students behaving respectfully & responsibly, she will move their clip up to the blue “Good Choices” section. If quality behavior continues, students will be moved to the purple “Outstanding” section of the chart. If a student is making choices that are disruptive to themselves and/or classmates, they will be moved down to the yellow “Think About It” section of the chart. Finally, if a student continues to make disruptive choices, they will be moved to the red “Parent Contact” section and Mrs. Yashinski will email or call the parent to inform them of the disruptive behavior and discuss consequences.
At the end of each day, if your clip is on:
Outstanding you will earn +3 points.
Good Choices you will earn +2 points.
Ready To Learn you will earn +1 point.
“Think About It” you will earn 0 points
“Parent Contact” you will earn 0 points
Students will keep track of their minutes on a monthly calendar. Minutes will be added at the end of each week. On Friday afternoons, they will enjoy that number minutes for
Preferred Activity Time (PAT)!
