All students will start each day with their clip on the “Ready to Learn” section of the behavior chart. As Mrs. Yashinski notices students behaving respectfully & responsibly, she will move their clip up to the “Amazing” section. If quality behavior continues, students will be moved to the “Excellent Role Model” section of the chart. If a student is making choices that are disruptive to themselves and/or classmates, they will be moved down to the “Reminder” section of the chart. Finally, if a student continues to make disruptive choices, they will be Mrs. Yashinski will email or call the parent to discuss the behavior and steps taken to redirect and support the student.
At the end of each day, if your clip is on:
Excellent Role Model you will earn +3 points
Amazing you will earn +2 points
Ready To Learn you will earn +1 point
“Reminder” you will earn 0 points
Students will keep track of their minutes on a monthly calendar found in their agenda. Minutes will be added at the end of each week. On Friday afternoons, they will enjoy that number minutes for Preferred Activity Time (PAT)!
