Dear Parents,

The Prince William County Public School Preschool Special Education Program has Integrated Preschool opportunities at Tyler Elementary. Our Integrated Program at Tyler serves children ages three and four years old with developmental delays, along with their appropriate peer models. There will be five openings for children ages three and four years of age to serve as peer models during the 2020-21 school year. Children must be at least 3 ½ years old by September 30, 2020 and live in the Tyler Elementary school attendance area. Selection Process: Your child will be invited to come in for one 30-minute play session in our preschool classroom during the weeks of February 18-21 and 24-28 from 12:45-1:15. Children must demonstrate age-appropriate language and social skills in order to qualify for the lottery selection. Parents of the children who are selected will be notified by the first week of March. Children who are not selected will be notified and placed on a waiting list. Enrollment Process and Agreement: Children who are selected for the Integrated Program will need to be registered at Tyler. Registration forms will need to be completed before school begins. A physical/well child check and immunization record will be required at this time. Three and four-year old children will be enrolled in school five days per week for a half-day session in the afternoon.

Parent Requirements: Transportation Snack $50 for materials per semester
